The 2011-2012 school year has started. Students enjoyed seeing friends on their first day and a rally on their second day here at Foothill.

The new school year has started, and has been smooth sailing so far for new principal, Mr. Joe Williams.
On the first day of school, new and returning students alike greeted each other with stories of how they spent their summer breaks and what classes they have for the year. A few new staff members also greeted students on the first day, including Ms. Deborah Daniels (Spanish), Ms. Samantha Jaubert (PE), Mr. Rick Moses (math), Mr. Mark Nickel (math), Ms. Rajwinder Padda (math), Ms. Shannon Pegar (library media tech), and Mr. Kiffin Yan (career center tech).
At lunch, students could tell friends about their new teachers while munching on granola bars, ice cream sandwiches, or popsicles, among other treats being sold by Leadership.

To end the first week right, students and staff enjoyed a back-to-school rally Friday afternoon. Spectators watched as fellow classmates and teachers participated in the rally games.
The first week of school has started out the year right. Let’s make this another great year, Foothill!
