Switching schools isn't always fun, especially in the middle of the year. The worst day is the first day you arrive. You don't know the campus very well, and you get lost.
Being new is stressful because you don't know anyone most of the time. It's nerve-racking because you're nervous wondering if you're going to make friends or not. Also, you're labeled as the "new kid," not by your name, like everyone else.
New isn't always easy; a lot of people don't like being new. Personally, I move around a lot, and the first week is always the hardest. It's one thing if you move to a different house, but to move to a whole different school and make all new friends takes some time getting used to.
On the other hand, being new isn't all that bad. It's a new school, with new classes, new teachers and new friends; it's like having a fresh start. Maybe you didn't like your old school, or you had a bad reputation. Now all of that goes away.
You can be a whole new person at a new school; everything is new to you. Now I'm not saying that right off the start you're going to enjoy your school and have tons of friends. It will take time to adjust to everything, but you will learn to enjoy it.
