Tammy Bordisso is a semi-new teacher here at Foothill. She just started here last year and is thrilled to be working here teaching Biology and Physical Education. Bordisso taught at Lincoln High as a long term substitute before she came to Foothill.
Bordisso loved Foothill from the very first visit. She was impressed with all the classes at Foothill, especially the culinary class.
The people that inspired her to become a teacher were her children and seeing their love for learning. She figured out that she liked being around kids and seeing a difference with a student, but little did she know that 16 years later she would be teaching.
According to FHS sophomore, Alyssa Loker, Ms. Bordisso is an amazing teacher to have. She encourages her student’s every day to reach their full potential. Loker says, “She is a fun teacher and you guys would love her and how she teaches.”
Every day before her students leave her class, Bordisso always says “Have a good day and don’t forget to be awesome,” or “Have a good day and don’t forget to make good choices.”
