Procrastination equals failure

Procrastination is the action of delaying or postponing something.

Don’t procrastinate in high school because if you get into the habit of it then it’s difficult to break the habit. To be able to graduate you need to pass all your classes and in order to do so you need to show up to class and get your work in on time. Getting your work in on time and done right can only happen if you don’t procrastinate.

Have you ever been in a situation where you have an assignment due and you’ve had a week to do it and it’s the night before? It’s stressful, right? Now, when you have it done a day early you aren’t stressed and you feel like a weight is lifted off of your shoulder.

At home you have chores but don’t really want to do them so you eat or take a nap, you do everything in your power not to do them. Then your parent or guardian get mad because it’s been hours since they told you to do it but you still don’t have it done. No one really likes getting in trouble, no matter how much you “don’t care.”

I procrastinate all of the time and it’s honestly so stressful. But I don’t know how to stop it, which is bad because I’m a senior about to go to college and you can’t really procrastinate in college because if you miss your deadline you can’t turn it in anymore. Even if the professor lets you turn it in late it may only be half credit.

There is a quote that someone sent me that says, “If tomorrow isn’t the due date then today isn’t the do date.” ¬†Putting off work isn’t how to succeed in life. No matter how much you don’t want to do something, it has to get done and get done right.

So don’t procrastinate get your stuff done!
