Even just chilling out with friends can be a great way to have fun. Photo by Ahmylie Francesisco. |
There is a lot to do on the weekends other than sitting around and playing video games.

This week……… *Drum roll* is about social life. My social life can be boring sometimes and other times not at all. Last weekend was more family than it was friends. The weekends before that were hanging out with friends and going places. Last weekend, though, I had a family dinner Saturday night, then Sunday I was with two sets of my grandparents and we did prep for when we all go to L.A.
This weekend is going to be a chill weekend with some friends and maybe some roller skating. Sundays are usually the day that we all stay home because it’s the night before school and or work. Then Last couple weekends have been fun and packed. When my weekends are packed I have to be a good child for my birth giver or it all ends. This weekend I’m trying to hang out with friends and do things. So that means I have to do my chores and be good. Most the time I’m good anyways but other times I can be annoying to both my mom and little brother.
If I have nothing planned then I always make last minute plans. Most the time everyone already has their weekend planned out. If I’m not going anywhere and I’m not with friends that usually means that I’m at home with my mom and little brother or we are out doing something. My mom knows all my friends that I hang out with and some people think that it’s weird that she does. Some people I knew, their mom just never cared where they were and what they were doing.
It’s the complete opposite for me. My mom knows who I’m with, where I am and what we are doing, but I love her for it because she’s just being my mom. It’s always crazy on the weekends for my family but I’m sure we are not the only ones with busy weekends. So instead of being at home being bored make some plans and hangout with your friend’s.
