If you’re a freshman and you are not taking high school seriously, then why? To be able to get through high school you have to try and not be messing around. If you don’t finish high school then you will have nothing to do for money because a high school diploma is imperivative for many job applications. Most freshmen say that it’s still early and that they will be fine.
But will they really?
If you don’t try your freshman year, then it shows in your grades. If you have bad grades freshman year but good grades the other three years that just kind of shows that you didn’t try your freshman year.
Do you think not trying is a good thing for you? Then you’re mesing up your life. If you try all four years of highs school it will be easier to get into a college. But if you only try for part or half of your four years it will be harder.
Colleges look at your GPA and SAT/ACT scores. Your GPA is your grades and how they add up, when they look at the SAT/ACT they compare the two as a joint decision. Colleges look at your freshman year along with your other three years. Colleges don’t care about middle school grades. They look at your time in high school because it’s important because you have credits for your classes.
Keep your head above the water and try your best to keep your grades up. If you really try and put little effort in you will do well. Just believe in your self.
