This week’s column is mainly for the seniors who missed the meeting on Wednesday during second period.
On Wednesday December 06, 2017 Superintendent Dr. Steven Martinez came to talk to the seniors. He basically said that we only have six months to get our acts together. To the seniors who are failing English, Government, Economics or any other class you need credits for, you need to pass or you will not graduate.
He also brought up that you need to make sure the people you associate yourself with won’t influence you into doing something that you will be crucial to your health or your goals in life. You also will need to find out who your true friends are as soon as possible so you can get all of the negativity out of your life to achieve your goals.
Colin Baxter also came up to talk about edgenuity. If you have signed up for an edgenuity class you need to get it done over winter break and if you have a health class, the counselors have the right to take an elective of THEIR choice out of your schedule and put you in a health class… with freshman.
Robyn Brown talked about finances if you owe any money to the school you will need to pay it asap or you will not be able to get your diploma and your transcript sent to the college you’re going too
