A time for curfews

Curfews have their places for students of all ages.

Curfews. Depending on if it’s a weekday or a weekend determines what time you have to go to bed.

Weekdays usually means that you have to have your phone off and be in bed by a certain time. Weekends usually means you have to walk through the door and be home by or before a certain time.

For me personally, I have to be in bed by 10 p.m. on the weekdays because it’s a school night. For weekends, it depends on what I’m doing. Saturday nights I almost always go roller skating 8-11 p.m. and I get a ride home. That usually means I’m home around 11:30 p.m. by the latest 12 p.m.

Sundays are a different story because we have school most the time the next day. If we don't have school on a Monday I usually have be in bed by like 11 p.m. But for a lot of people their curfew is a lot earlier.

If you have an earlier curfew, or “bedtime,” you have to get everything done before then, kind of like 8:30-9:00 p.m. My curfew when I was in middle school was different.
